German Intensive Course September 2021
Next course: 01.09. – 01.10.2021 (Online format)
The Language Centre (department of German language) at the European University Viadrina and viadrina sprachen gmbh offer you the opportunity to attend an online German course before the semester begins.
Please note:
- The intensive German course in September 2021 will be an online course.
- To participate in the online course, you need a notebook with camera and microphone and a very good internet connection.
Course 1 – For students with little previous knowledge of German
Intensive Course Basic Level 1 | Grundstufe 1
– Learning objective A1 GER
– 65 hours
Important: Here you can find our what previous knowledge you need for the Intensive Course Basic Level 1.
If you register for the German Basic Level 1, you accept these requirements and you accept to learn these basics on your own before starting the intensive course.
Course 2 – For students with knowledge of German on the level A1 GER
Intensive Course Basic Level 2 | Grundstufe 2
– Learning objective A2 GER
– 65 hours
Course 3 – For students with knowledge of German on the level A2 GER
Intensive Course Intermediate 1 | Mittelstufe 1
– Learning objective B1 GER
– 65 hours
Course 4 – For students with knowledge of German on the level B1 GER
Intensive Course Intermediate 2 | Mittelstufe 2
– Learning objective B1+/B2 GER
– 65 hours
You will be placed in one of the courses according to your placement test’s result.
Information about the German courses:
- Placement test as part of the application
- Interactive online language learning in small groups (8-16 students) with trained German teachers
- Practical german for use in everyday life, focusing on speaking, reading, wrting and listening comprehension
- Exercises for independent learning
- Concludes with an online test
Course fees:
- For exchange and regular students of Viadrina: € 200
- For other participants: € 450

- Please print the application form (including the placement test) and fill it in. (You find the English version after the German version.)
- Please send us also your placement test which is part of the application form. Please fill in the placement test without any help.
- Send the application form and the placement test via E-Mail to
info@viadrina-sprachen.com. - Please make sure to transfer your deposit of EUR to our bank account by August 22, 2021. All bank charges are on the account of the participant.
Notification of cancellation must be in writing and sent to viadrina sprachen gmbh. By cancellation before the August 22, registration fee except
a cancellation charge of EUR 25 will be refunded. By cancellation after the registration deadlines there will be no refund.
